You would think an aggressive style would be better suited for a tight table all around.

However, I usually get a lot of my good results by forcing bad players out of their comfort zones. There are many examples of players after 3 or 4 3-bets preflop completely lose it and start going all in with any crap hand. So even at 1000NL and 2000NL there are much more money to be made from the true LAG donks than there are from the overly tight regulars.

Kristian

This quality of game issue is a tough one to answe...

This quality of game issue is a tough one to answer. I've always thought that late evening (UK time) and very early morning say 5am onwards were the best times to play.

It obviously also varies from the week days to weekends. However, how good or bad conditions are surely depends on your natural style of play?

If you like to open many hands and bully the table, picking up many small pots without a showdown for example, you'll find a game good that perhaps someone who likes to sit back and wait for aces and sets would never sit in for too long. I often find that games can revolve around one or two fishy players and stay good as long as they still have chips, however the regulars at my stakes are generally on the weak side no matter the time of day.

Matt.
